This is the legend the whole line is built on. The figure on your back is a rōnin walking out of a storm beneath a blood-red sun — straw kasa low, blade already drawn. No clan crest. No master's banner. The kanji down each side carry his code: those without a name carve their own path — the blade does not speak; it severs the truth.
This is Chapter One. Where the road begins. Sealed at the base with the 黒鉄 Kurogane mark — black iron — the brand for those who'd rather let the work do the talking.
